What Do We Have to Offer?

Here at Eganville & District Seniors, we recognize the importance of keeping fit and healthy as we age. Thats why we offer a variety of exercise classes to suit everyones personal fitness levels. Coming to exercise class is a great way to socialize with old and new friends all while getting in a great workout. Our exercise classes include weekly Muscle & Tone, High Mobility, Diabetic and Vascular health exercise (Mid Mobility), and Low Mobility. We also offer specialty exercise classes such as Tai Chi, and Zumba.

Muscle & Tone Class

This popular stream of exercise has a lot to offer! Offered every Monday and Friday at 9a.m.

High Mobility Class

A fun and energetic class that is sure to have you break a sweat. It is a 45 minute workout, that includes a warm up, walking, lower body strengthening, upper body strengthening, balance exercises, and closes with a cool down and stretch.

Class held at: 30 Bell St. Eganville ON. Offered every Tuesday and Thursday at 9a.m.

Diabetic & Vascular Health Exercise Class

Are you a diabetic and looking to get into shape? Try out our 30 minute Diabetic & Vascular Health exercise class. This class includes accelerated cardiovascular activity, range of motion, strength training with resistance tubing, isometric strength training with balls, as well as seated or standing flexibility & balance training.

Class held at: 3310 Lake Dore Rd. Golden Lake

Low Mobility Class

Another popular class offered at the Eganville Seniors Centre. Perfect for anyone recovering from an injury looking for a light form of exercise or anyone just looking to keep active. The class is 45 minutes, with an emphasis around fall prevention. It includes a warmup, walking, lower body strengthening, upper body strengthening, balance exercises, and closes with a cool down/stretch.
